Use & responsibilities / Updated 5 October 2026
Terms of Service
These terms describe use of the Destiny 1 Dev Blog documentation site and its owner-operated local application. The operator is Luke McClellan; contact lcmcclellan28@gmail.com. The site currently provides documentation and support, not a public software subscription or hosted video service.
What the application does
The local application assembles development footage, generates previews and exports, records review decisions and supports authorized platform operations where available. TikTok functionality is in sandbox preparation. No production approval, public-posting capability or uninterrupted platform access is promised.
Accounts and permissions
Only connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Authorize through the platform's official login flow. Never send passwords or access tokens to support. You can remove local access or revoke the platform grant at any time.
Content responsibilities
You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed for footage, music, logos, voice recordings and other material you use or share. Check exports for private details and ensure descriptions accurately represent the evidence. Do not use the application for unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful content.
Destiny and related game assets belong to their respective rights holders. This project is independent and does not claim endorsement by Bungie, Sony, TikTok or Google. The application's tooling does not grant game or music licenses.
Approval and posting
Review the actual finished export before approving it. TikTok inbox upload is a transfer, not a public post: the creator must review and complete posting in TikTok. Sandbox operations remain subject to TikTok's restrictions. Dry-run is for simulation and must not be represented as a successful live integration.
Platform availability
Platform APIs, reviews, quotas, account restrictions and moderation can change. A client key is not product approval. TikTok's current rules exclude private or personal-use apps from production review. Follow the platform's current terms; do not bypass review, verification or access controls.
Maintenance, data and limitations
Keep backups of originals and project records. The software and documentation are provided as available; processing, scheduling and platform outcomes can fail. No guarantee is made about publication timing, audience reach or preservation completeness. Any limitation is subject to rights and protections that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
Stopping use and changes
Stop the local service, revoke account permissions and remove local files to stop using the application. This does not remove material already sent to a third party. The operator may update these terms as functionality changes; the update date identifies the current version.
